What does "100% certified renewable energy" actually mean?

Our servers run in data centres operated by Contabo, which procures electricity backed by renewable energy certificates covering wind, hydro and solar generation. That is a procurement claim about the energy supply. It is not the same as being carbon-neutral, and we do not claim that yet.

Is it really managed, or do I end up doing it myself?

Managed means we patch the server software, watch the machines, keep backups running and help when something breaks. You still own your content and code, and you keep SSH access if you want it.

How does support work?

24/7 AI support, human escalation. Ask to speak to a human or email support@bytenest.io. When a question needs a person, it goes to an engineer with the relevant support context.

Can you move my existing site for me?

Yes. Standard migrations are free on annual plans, and we aim for zero downtime by switching DNS only after the copy is verified. Unusually complex migrations are quoted as an add-on.

What if it is not right for me?

Web hosting plans, including Managed WordPress, come with a 14-day money-back policy. Cloud VPS plans are non-refundable and billed monthly in advance; new accounts receive a $10 ByteNest credit. Domain registrations are non-refundable.

We run in 8 regions across 4 continents. Web and WordPress hosting are live in Germany and Singapore, with other regions on request. Cloud VPS is available in all 8.
